Volksfest

Maddie and I went to the German American festival this afternoon with friends. We ate bloomin onion with special sauce, soft serve erdberre (strawberry) ice cream, german gummy bears, and german pizza. Then walked around and then road the flintstones ride. Now we are home and tired! I bought Madeline a Traditional dirndl German dress yesterday that she wore and we'll be bringing it back to the States with us! It just looked too cute!

Susan, Gretchen told me your devastating news. I am so very, very sorry for your loss. My heart can only imagine the depth of your sorrow. I wish that I could bear some of it for you, so that it would not be so crushing.

I pray that God will pour out his grace and mercy upon you as you face this, that you will have strength more than you could ever have imagined.

Susan,
My heart is breaking for you. I've prayed through tears the last two days, asking God to give you a sense of His presence & His peace. No one can know what you are going through... only God. And only He can give you the strength you need right now, which is what I'm continuing to pray for you.

Dear Susan,
I don't know your sweet family but I will certainly be praying for y'all. I read about your family on Gretchen's blog and my heart breaks for you and yours. The sacrifice your family has given for my family is deeply appreciated and will not be forgotten.
Many prayers for peace and mercy.
